We are excited to announce that yesterday, the Frans Seda Foundation officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Kompas Gramedia Group. The MoA officially connects both institutions to each other for the next three years to promote and organise joined Indonesian-Dutch activities which study, spread and put into action the philosophy of the late Frans Seda on pursuing global common good and social justice. In practice, this means that the Kompas Gramedia Group will host the Indonesian editions of the FSF Innovation Lab at their Premiere Santika Hotels.
The signing took place in Jakarta during the Dutch Economic Mission to Indonesia which is simultaneously taking place in Indonesia as the State Visit of Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima.
The MoA was signed by Lilik Oetama, CEO of the Kompas Gramedia Group and Ery Seda, daughter of the late Frans Seda and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Frans Seda Foundation. The signing was witnessed by Rikard Bagun, CEO of Kompas TV & Steve Ginting, Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Frans Seda Foundation.
Short after, the MoA was publically presented in the presence of Agus Suparmanto, Indonesian Minister of Trade, Sybilla Dekker, Dutch Minister of State, Rosan Roeslani, Head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, Hans de Boer, President of the business and employers’ organisation VNO-NCW, Yosef Djakababa, Member of the Board of the Frans Seda Foundation & Rennie Roos, Implementing Partner of the Frans Seda Foundation.
